Application of the Act

The provisions of the Public Health (Sewerage and Drainage) Ordinance, shall apply to the area of the Dar es Salaam Municipality in the Eastern Province with effect from 1st August, 1955, and to the areas of the following townships with effect from the respective dates set out opposite their names—

Establishment fee notices

[Section 24; G.N. No. 279 of 1957]Where under the Public Health (Sewerage and Drainage) Act an Authority is empowered to execute works and to recover from any person the expenses incurred by such Authority in so doing, it may include in, and recover as part of such expenses, an additional sum of twenty percent to cover customs duties and other charges and departmental expenses.
