1.

This Order may be cited as the Arms and Ammunition (Reciprocal Recognition of Licences) Order.

2.

An arms licence or firearm certificate, other than a licence or certificate issued in respect of a muzzle-loading firearm, issued in the Republic of Kenya, the Republic of Uganda or the Republic of Malawi and corresponding to an arms licence under the Arms and Ammunition Act in the United Republic of Tanzania shall, on being endorsed by an authorized officer, have the same effect and validity in the United Republic of Tanzania as if it were a firearm licence granted under the Arms and Ammunition Act of the United Republic of Tanzania.
