1. Short title
These Rules may be cited as the Chattels Transfer Rules.2. Attestation clause
Every person attesting the execution of an instrument or of a memorandum of satisfaction or of a transfer of an instrument shall sign an attestation clause in one of the forms contained in the First Schedule, whichever may be appropriate.3. Forms to be used
The forms contained in the Second Schedule shall be used in all matters to which they refer.4. Document to be written legibly in English on durable paper
Every affidavit, instrument, memorandum and transfer shall be clearly and legibly written, printed or typewritten in the English or Kiswahili languages on paper or parchment of durable quality measuring thirteen inches by eight inches and margins of one and a half inches along the top and binding edges of each sheet shall be left blank for use in the office of the Registrar.5.
