This Direction may be cited as the Births and Deaths Registration (Duties of District Registrars) Direction.

It is hereby directed that the duties of a District Registrar in a district shall, in the absence or during the illness or incapacity of the Administrative Officer in charge of a district, be performed by the Administrative Officer stationed at the headquarters of that district who is next in seniority.
