This Order may be cited as the Tanzania Central Freight Bureau (Specification of Freight and Routes) Order.2.
As from the effective date the Bureau shall assume the exclusive rights to book or reserve freight or cargo space on any ocean going vessel for–3.
Unless otherwise directed by the Bureau—4.
In exercising its exclusive right to book cargo and shipping space in the areas of its jurisdiction, the Bureau may take disciplinary action, in accordance with the provisions of the Act, against those who may violate the exclusivity.5.

Subject to the provisions of the Act, the Bureau shall have powers to issue binding directives and instructions to shippers, shipping agents, freight forwarders and any other participants in the movement of freight, for the purpose of carrying out the objectives of the Act.8.
The Tanzania Central Freight Bureau extends its jurisdiction to cover new geographical areas as specified in the Schedule to this Order.History of this document
