This Notice may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Delegation of Powers and Duties of the Minister) Notice.

The powers and duties of the Minister under the Merchant Shipping Act, saving the power to make rules and regulations and the powers conferred upon him by sections 268, 273 and 299 of the Act, are hereby delegated to the person holding the office of Senior Harbour Master at the Dar es Salaam Harbour.
