Urban Authorities (Kinondoni Valuation Roll Phase III) Notice, 2003

[Made under section 11(1)]

1.

This Notice may be cited as the Urban Authorities (Kinondoni Valua­tion Roll Phase III) Notice, 2003 and shall come into operation on 15th April, 2003.

Notice is hereby given to the general public that:
(a)In accordance with Part II Section 11(1)(a) - (e), of the Urban Authorities (Rating) Act No. 2 of 1983, the public is hereby notified that the Kinondoni Valuation Roll Phase III, which covered areas of Sinza blocks “A”, “B”, “C”, “D” and “E”, Mbezi block “A”, “B”, and “C” and Kunduchi Mtongani and Kunduchi Kilongawima is open for public inspection at the Kinondoni Valuation Offices.
(b)The owner or occupier of any property included in the Kinondoni Valuation Roll Phase III, or a duly authorised rep­resentatives, may make an objection to any valuation, or in respect of any other error, omission or misdescription in the roll, on or before 30th April, 2003.
(c)The objector must lodge notice of objection in the form prescribed and must set out the grounds upon which the objection is based.
(d)The Rating Valuation Tribunal shall, from 12th May, 2003, sit at Kinondoni Municipal Council Offices to consider and determine any objection duly lodged.
(e)No person is entitled to present any objection before the Tri­bunal unless he had first lodged notice of objection within the time notified herein.
