Waterworks (Re-categorization of Urban Water Authorities) Rules, 2005

[Made under section 39]

1. Citation

These Rules may be cited as the Waterworks (Re-categorization of Urban Water Authorities) Rules, 2005.

2. Effective date

The categories hereby specified in the Schedule to these Rules shall take effect from the date of publication.

Schedule

Category A:Those which can meet all of their direct and indirect costs of operation and maintenance and part of investment costs.Category B:Those which can meet all of their direct and indirect costs of operation and maintenance except part of electricity bills.Category C:Those which can meet all of their direct and indirect costs of operation and maintenance except personnel emoluments for permanent employed staff and electricity bills.
