1. Citation

This Notice may be cited as the Water Supply and Sanitation (Arusha Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority) Extension of Service Area) Notice, 2023.

2. Extension of Service area

The Service area of Arusha Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority is hereby extended to include the areas specified in Schedule to this Notice.

3. Disestablishment and transition

(1)Any Community Organisation or entity registered prior to coming in to operation of this Notice providing water supply and sanitation services in the extended services areas shall cease to provide such services.
(2)The rights, responsibilities, tenure of employees, assets and liabilities or any other related matters given, issued or undertaken by the disestablished water authorities shall be vested to Arusha urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority.
