National Prosecutions Service (Appointment of Public Prosecutor) Notice, 2023

1.CitationThis Notice may be cited as the National Prosecutions Service (Appointment of Public Prosecutor) Notice, 2023.
2.Appointment of public prosecutorThe person whose name is specified in the Schedule to this Notice is appointed as a public prosecutor for the purposes of prosecuting criminal cases on behalf of the Director of Public Prosecutions for matters prescribed under the Architects and Quantity Surveyors (Registration) Act.[Cap.269]
3.Validity of appointment
(1)The appointment under this Notice shall be valid for a period of five years from the date of coming into operation of this Notice.
(2)Notwithstanding sub-paragraph (1), the person appointed as public prosecutor may serve for a period of less than five years if such person’s employment in the Public Service is terminated or when such appointment is otherwise determined by the Director of Public Prosecutions.
