Law of The Child (Designation of Juvenile Courts) (Amendment) Notice, 2017

            1.   This Notice may be cited as the Law of the Child (Designation of Juvenile Courts) (Amendment) Notice, 2017 and shall be read as one with the Law of the Child (Designation of Juvenile Courts) Notice, 2016 hereinafter to the “principal Notice.”

Amendment of paragraph 3

            2.  The principal Notice is amended by deleting paragraph 3 and substituting for it the following-

“Constitution of the Juvenile Court

            3. A Juvenile Court shall be duly constituted when presided over by a Resident magistrate having jurisdiction in the District Court of the District in which the premises of the primary court designated as juvenile court are situated.”
