1. Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Law of Marriage (Functions of Deputy Registrars-General) Regulations.

2. Deputy Registrar-General may perform functions of Registrar-General

Subject to the directions of the Registrar-General of Marriages and Divorces, it shall be lawful for a Deputy Registrar-General of Marriages and Divorces appointed under subsection (2) of section 3 of the Law of Marriage Act to perform all the functions of the Registrar-General under the said Act or any subsidiary legislation made thereunder.
