1. Citation
These Regulations may be cited as the Wildlife Conservation (Registration of Trophies) Regulations, and shall come into operation on the date of the commencement of the Wildlife Conservation Act1.2. Interpretation
For the purposes of these Regulations, "prescribed marking" means, in relation to a trophy produced for registration to a licensing officer having jurisdiction over any district or urban centre specified in the first column of the First Schedule to these Regulations, the marking prescribed in relation to such district or centre in the second column of the said Schedule and every such marking shall be affixed by causing the same to be indented or impressed on the trophy.3. The licensing officer to whom any trophy is produced for registration, shall, if he is, after such enquiry as he may consider necessary, satisfied that such trophy was lawfully obtained–4. Fees
The fee specified on the prescribed form shall be payable in respect of a trophy certificate of registration to which the form relates.5. Affixing of trophy label

Any person who fails to comply with any of the provisions of these Regulations or makes any false statement in any application or other document or to any authorised officer performing any function under the Act or any subsidiary legislation commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding fifteen thousand shillings or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both that fine and imprisonment.History of this document
